Bears' Caleb Williams Makes Official Jersey Number Decision After NFL Draft
Caleb Williams will wear number 18 for the Chicago Bears.
Williams, who was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, has only been a Bear for a short time, but he already has his jersey number set.
The jersey of the No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick is already on sale via the Chicago Bears website, confirming the new quarterback will wear number 18.
Williams has not yet commented on his jersey number, but he is likely to discuss it with reporters at his introductory press conference on Friday.
The number 18 has been worn by some of the most iconic players in Bears history, including Sid Luckman, Gale Sayers, and Brian Urlacher.
Williams will look to add his name to that list of legends and help lead the Bears to their first Super Bowl title since 1985.
